“I purchased my first Windows PC in 1987 and by 2004, I could see the potential for growth in tech support generally. I gained my Diploma in Information Technology in 2005. I then started PC Sanity in 2006 especially because I found there was a lack of support for novice and mature-age computer users. As a mature-age technician, I found that most computer technicians didn’t and still don’t provide patient, honest advice with old-fashioned personalized service or use plain-language instead of geek speak. I am extremely patient and very understanding even with complete newbies and I’m well known for that attribute.”
Our Difference
PC Sanity has been in business since 2006. We concentrate on the quality of service provided rather than the quantity of customers served. As we have low overheads and our profit margins are low, our prices are very competitive with the big shops. We always provide honest advice and prompt, reliable and affordable repairs. Jeff is a mature-age technician and as such treats all customers with respect and personally handles all repairs and communications.

- install all critical/important Windows Updates

Fast Turnaround Time
For in-workshop jobs, our turn-around time is very short. Most jobs are completed within one or two days. When you collect your computer, we actually demonstrate that it is fixed & are happy to explain the changes made/work carried out on your computer & (where available) show you the logs. We send you a courtesy email afterwards to follow-up on your computer service/repair.
On-site, pickup, dropoff or remote
We offer onsite computer repairs, pick-up service, Remote Access or you can bring your computer to us at our office in Rochedale, Logan, Brisbane.

With this HOT weather, you do not want your PC Tower or Laptop to overheat! Too much fluff & dust can cause your CPU (Central Processor Unit) to overheat. In a PC, there are also fans to be cleared.
The small cost of having your PC serviced far outweighs the potential damage that could be caused due to overheating. These pics are a small sample of some of the computers we've cleaned last year.
Depending on the state of your PC, these are some of the functions/tests carried out during a service (tune-up):
Deleting unnecessary/invalid/junk/temporary files
Uninstalling adware/junkware
Disabling or removing unnecessary/invalid Startup entries
Updating software & updating drivers
Scanning for any hidden malicious files
Scanning for corrupt Windows System files
Fixing Registry problems
Testing your SSD (Solid State Drive) including lifespan
Testing your RAM (memory)
Performing a physical clean of the inside of the PC or Laptop, especially CPU heatsink & vents (will allow your CPU to run cooler)

I've been selling & personally using Trend Micro for 19 years. When I first started my IT business 20 years ago, the product was called PC-Cillin. Currently, I sell & install Trend Micro to about 250 customers each year.
