Why PC Sanity?

Understand the difference between purchasing from a retail shop and purchasing from PC Sanity

When you buy a Desktop PC or a Notebook (Laptop) from a retailer, Windows is only pre-loaded so when you get it home, you must do the rest, ensuring you choose the correct settings… privacy, time zone, region, language etc, etc. However, when you buy a Desktop PC or a Notebook (Laptop) from PC Sanity, we perform System Setup included in the quoted price.
N.B. we can supply custom-built or branded (pre-built) Desktop PCs e.g. Acer, Asus, HP, Lenovo and MSI.

Inclusions

When we supply you a PC or notebook, we provide System Setup included in the quoted price:

  • Finalise Windows setup including configure Time Zone, Language (incl Eng/ Aus Language Pack) and other Settings
  • Install motherboard drivers e.g. chipset, audio, LAN, graphics etc
  • Activate Windows with Microsoft and install all critical/important Windows Updates
  • Install latest Adobe Reader (so that you can view PDF files)
  • Configure Microsoft Edge browser
  • Uninstall unnecessary software
  • Disable unnecessary Startups (makes your computer bootup faster)

If not wanting System Setup as above, we can supply the PC/Notebook as is (sealed in the box) for $44 less than our quoted price.

If required, we can also perform Custom Setup which could include any of the following (labour charge does apply):

Copy your data (from your old computer) to the new computer (even if your old computer fails to boot)

Setup your email account & import emails and contacts from your old computer (e.g. Outlook, Windows Live Mail etc)
Supply & install software e.g. Chrome or Firefox, Microsoft Office, Internet Security, Nero etc
Install your licensed software e.g. Microsoft Office, Internet Security, MYOB, QuickBooks, Adobe Photoshop etc
Set Default Apps for Email program, Music player, Photo Viewer, Video Player & Web Browser
Install your Pocket WiFi device, Wireless USB adapter, printer, webcam etc
We can also deliver, connect & setup the PC/Notebook and show it all working in your premises.

Even if you have purchased a PC or Notebook elsewhere, we are happy to perform the System Setup and/or Custom Setup.
